2022 Emmy Awards Nominations Revealed

The nominations for the 2022 Emmy Awards have been revealed live.

JB Smoove and Melissa Fumero announced who will be competing for some of TV’s highest honors during a virtual ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m. PT, which will be streamed live on Emmys.com.

Smoove is a writer, comedian and Emmy-winning actor best known for his role on HBO curb Your Enthusiasm, Fumero was one of the stars of NBC brooklyn nine-nineWhich completed its eight-season run in September 2021. Both are set to appear in Netflix’s upcoming Film Comedy series, also starring Randall Park.

The 2022 Emmy Awards are set to air live coast-to-coast on NBC on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The show will also be live streamed on Mayur.

The ceremony usually airs on Sundays, except in years when NBC owned the broadcast rights, as the network broadcast NFL games on Sunday nights. Emmys broadcasts rotate between ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC. When NBC last aired the Emmys four years ago, the awards show took place on a Monday.

The Creative Arts Emmys will take place over two nights on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, before the main event on NBC. An edited version of the Creative Arts Emmys airs September 10 at 8 p.m. fxx.
