Henry Winkler didn’t get no satisfaction during awkward meeting with Mick Jagger
Henry Winkler reveals he didn’t get any satisfaction when he met Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger. Talking with Guest-Host Anthony Anderson On Wednesday, the actor opened up about being completely starstruck upon meeting the singer.
“I was at a restaurant, and I went up to Mick Jagger and I said, ‘Hello, I’m Henry Winkler and I have all your albums,'” Winkler recalled.
Apparently Rockstar didn’t even turn its head to look at Winkler, he simply said “Henry” and went about his business.
“I slipped out of the restaurant,” Winkler said. As he left, he remembered praising the front, saying, “‘I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you. Enjoy the sushi. It was such a pleasure. I love your clothes. .'”
Winkler’s appearance on the show came just a day after he received an Emmy nomination for his role in the HBO series Barry. He won his first Emmy in 2018 for playing the same character.
