series premiere Monday ended in a scandalous fashion. The series challenges mystery contestants to guess which celebrities their fellow contestants are related to. And right out of the gate there was an unexpected twist at the end of the episode.
Contestants are not allowed to have personal phones, as this would make it very easy to cheat. During the first elimination, Kevin Jonas and Frankie Jonas revealed that a contestant cheated using their phone.
The guilty party was Maxwell Norris, grandson of the great martial arts actor Chuck Norris. Norris can be seen using the smuggled phone while his upper body is hidden under a comforter.
Kevin Jonas said, “As you know, when you came home, we took all of your equipment, put the information away, to protect your identity, to make sure the game was fair to everyone. ” “And one of you broke that rule… As you guys know, we take it very seriously. We want you to take the sport seriously. It really is a competition.”
After telling the cast and audience that Norris’s former star was related to Walker Texas RangerEveryone was surprised. They are equally shocked to learn that Norris had used his phone to cheat.
While Maxwell’s new-found fans were disappointed with him for being inept, his new classmates worried about what would happen when his law-abiding grandfather finds out that he has cheated.
“Why would you cheat?” asked contestant Logan. “I’d be terrified of going to my grandfather’s house, and not even my grandfather, Chuck Norris. So good luck. Have fun, Max.”
