Kevin Spacey pleaded “not guilty” to multiple allegations of sexual assault in London on Thursday.
Appearing in Central Criminal Court—known locally as “The Old Bailey”—clad in a light blue suit and polka dot tie, Spacey, 62, gave his full name and date of birth, then went on to have sex. pleaded not guilty to the four charges. Three people were attacked, the BBC reported on Thursday morning.

Two of the alleged incidents happened in London in 2005 – the other two are said to have happened in 2008.
The star first faced allegations of sexual assault in 2017, when actor Anthony Rapp, now 50, accused the actor of having sex with her when he was 14.
Spacey responded to Rapp’s formal allegation by apologizing, saying “what would have been deeply inappropriate drunken behavior,” despite his claim that he had no recollection of the conversation.

Spacey faced further charges from three other alleged victims in England in 2018 for a 2016 civil trial and criminal sexual assault case, as well as a groping charge that was dropped in July 2019. As of July 2019, he was facing at least six sexual assault counts – an investigation still underway.
In light of the news, the producers of Spacey’s latest film, Peter Five Eight, described the “negative press” about the new allegations against the actor as “expected” in a statement obtained by The Hollywood Reporter.
