The 2022 MLB Draft begins in Los Angeles on Sunday night with the first two rounds competing with rounds A and B and the picks of compensation.

In all, 80 selections will be made on the first day. Vanderbilt baseball commitment Drew Jones is likely to be selected in the top 10, while former Commodores star pitcher Kumar Rocker is back in the draft pool. 10 in the 2021 draft by the Mets, who did not sign the right arm after concerns over the health of his pitching arm.
