LSU’s search for a quarterback commit in the 2023 class will just have to wait.
On Saturday, four-star Memphis quarterback Brock Glenn committed for Ohio State over Florida State, Auburn, TCU and the Tigers. Despite making the last five, it was no surprise to see Glenn elsewhere.
For a while, it looked like Glenn was destined to move to Tallahassee. After the Seminoles saw quarterback Chris Parson decimate, there were several predictions to land Glenn, who has long been attached to Auburn, where he has a legacy.
However, a late push from the Buckeyes made a difference, and the number 335 player overall in the 2023 recruiting class will be headed to Columbus.
After recalling quarterbacks Arch Manning, Jaden Rashda, Dante Moore, it’s starting to look like the Tigers can’t afford a passer-by in this cycle.
The LSU quarterback position looks good for the foreseeable future as it has a pair of young players in Miles Brennan and Jaden Daniels as well as Garrett Nussmeyer and Walker Howard.
Despite a lack of quarterback commitment, the Tigers currently have 17 chances in the 2023 class, ranking 10th nationally.
