Multiple Charges Laid in Relation to Break and Enters and Vehicle Thefts in Oakville

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has arrested a suspect in Oakville in connection with a series of night-time breaks and entry and high-end auto thefts in the summer and fall of 2021.

The same suspect was also identified as being responsible for four additional night stays and entry and theft of a vehicle in 2022.

The suspect was found and arrested by HRPS officers at a hotel in Mississauga. A known associate of the suspect was also arrested at the time.

During the arrest, a Ford truck was jointly stolen from the suspects. Each suspect was also carrying a loaded firearm.

Deshaan Daly, 19, of Mississauga, has been charged with at least seven counts of break and enter and commit and eight counts of motor vehicle theft, among several other charges.

Jadin Young, 22, of Mississauga, has been charged with multiple crimes related to firearms and unauthorized possession.
