Nicolae Negumereanu stops Ihor Potieria’s streak with savage knees

DALLAS – Nikolay Negumeranu has now won four consecutive fights inside the Octagon after taking away Ihor Poteria at UFC 277.

Negumeranu (13-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) got the first end of Saturday’s card at the American Airlines Center in Dallas when he made something disastrous to take away Poteria (19-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC) in second. Looks striking. The round of their light heavyweight bout.

After a competitive first round, Negumeranu stunned his opponent in the second frame. Negumeranu put it down and hammered Poteria with a gruesome series of knees that forced referee Kerry Hatley to step in and shoo it away.

After a resounding victory, Negumeranu campaigned for a fight-night bonus, which would be the first of his UFC tenure.

“They said tomorrow they would give the bonus,” Negumeranu said through an interpreter in his post-war interview with Joe Rogan. “So Dana White, please give me $50,000.”
