The country music artist revealed the passing of her father, Beamon Nettles, on May 14, 2022, in the message. According to the obituary for him, he lived to the ripe old age of 69.

A devastating song was played in the video by the 47-year-old artist, who also sang it at his burial. She accompanied herself on the guitar while performing the song.
